    What are the Symphonies

    What are the symphonies?

The Year is 2026. For the last 10 years a battle has raged between the assembled artists of Googliversal and those of Appsony to win the consumers hearts and minds with the most powerful pieces of viral art. Culture has collapsed as everyone now connects to each other via a global cerebaral network. The metrics of empathy and comedy have mutated with the bioscience of surprise and awe in an attempt to pull every last piece of excitement out of civilisation. Censorship and fake content have moulded everyones thoughts into a confused crowd sourced consciousness. The world has become an autonomous cacophony of status updates.

.. but then something unpredictable happened, the internet filled up. With no more room to store data, it jammed and died. The world went silent.

A glimmer of hope came from one machine called Sym. A lone computer unplugged from the web that contained fragments of some of the world greatest pieces of art from some of the most prolific artists of all time. A wandering artist attempted to reassemble the fragments the best he could. Using old chord charts and lyric sheets from the Great Wiki Libraries, the songs could now be brought to life and reignite the empty souls of the world. The songs were to be played over the old international broadband phone network from decades past. These songs would go on to be known as the Symphonies. The artist? Riffioso

Thank you to all my friends and family who have hassled me to complete this project. I almost gave up as i couldn’t find anyone to help me build a platform to launch the work. With a twist of irony, just like the story of the symphonies, i almost lost the work as i was ready to move on in life.
The copyright has always been a big issue for me on this project and i’m still in 2 minds wether to pull it. This project is completely non profit and i hope all the original creators gain more credit from visitors to these remixes. If any of the original creators would like their work removed please contact me so i can make sure all traces are properly removed from the web. I hope this work inspires artists and people alike as There are deeper messages here than just the music. Please enjoy and feel free to message me with any feedback.
